The children wanted to search for information online so the teacher showed them how to use Kiddle, the search engine to find answers to their questions.

The children were inspired to learn more about Chinese Opera so the teacher organised a visit to the Chinese Opera Institute at the Aliwal Arts Centre.

I Know …
The teacher and children talked about what they had learnt and planned what they needed to do to put up a Chinese Opera performance.
Finally, performance day…everyone had a role to play as narrators, musicians or actors.

As part of their reflections, the children watched a video of their performance and talked about what they had learnt and how they could improve on it.
