Learning Areas
Learning Areas
Learning goals have been set for each of the five learning areas. These learning goals reflect widely held expectations about what children should know and be able to do upon completion of preschool education at Kindergarten 2 (K2). Each set of learning goals is translated into key knowledge, skills and dispositions for the learning areas. These goals serve to guide teachers in planning a developmentally appropriate curriculum and creating meaningful learning experiences that will promote and support children’s learning and holistic development.
